Visualisations

Using a combination of deep learning and more traditional digital image editing, I blend real photos with stunning photorealistic visualisations of buildings and environments that never existed.

The pictures below, and about a dozen more, have recently been published in the book Stockholmsdrömmar by Karl Kadhammar, published by Max Ström. It’s available in bookstores and online.

A version of Slussen that almost became a reality, a proposal from Ferdinand Boberg in 1906. The view is from Slussplan in Gamla stan southward. Notice Katarinahissen to the left.
A vision for a parliament building next to Riddarholmskyrkan. A proposal by A.E. Rudberg in 1861.
A rendition of the never realised Nobel palace, envisioned by Ferdinand Boberg around 1910.
